2025 has been a huge year. With authoritarianism on the rise, we launched the “Why Liberalism” series, showcasing new and classical ideas within the liberal tradition and how they can guide us today. We’ve also increased our podcast output, introducing The Good Fight Club—a panel format in which Yascha and special guests react to the week’s news and trending topics—and launching the Frankly Fukuyama podcast. Furthermore, American Purpose has highlighted some of the overlooked impacts of the Trump administration on the civil service.
We’ve also seen our physical community grow—building on the longstanding success of the Persuasion London Chapter, we’ve launched chapters in New York, Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia.
2026 looks to be a critical year for democracy both in the United States and globally, and we’re committed to providing quality content dissecting events and key themes. Your donation will help us to keep holding the administration to account, exploring ways to respond, and, of course, providing a liberal answer to the challenges faced by our country and the world.
