Yet, various passages of this post diss "populists", e.g. "the populist tiger". Is there anything that populism's foes could do, to get you to label them "the anti-populist tiger"?

Or, are populists so icky, that their foes always get the benefit of the doubt, regardless of how unfair the latter are to all of those who defy them?
It's just a slur for use whenever the masses displease their betters.
