There is a difference between doing something for free and doing something for a stipend. I've overseen a volunteer program for 20+ years, but I could be a first year volunteer and still know that there is a tangible difference between volunteering your own time for the good of it and doing activities for a stipend that are school requirements or that help build your resume. What a bizarre way to end the podcast.
