By subscribing to Persuasion and American Purpose, you become a member of our global community of like-minded people. We organize regular events both in-person and online, from pub meets to opportunities to ask authors about their work on Zoom.
Online Events
We have recently launched two ongoing events series to bring subscribers closer to our writers. In Ask the Author, our readers can ask writers about their recent articles in Persuasion or American Purpose. At Book Club, our subscribers can ask authors about their latest book.
Our next Book Club will be on Tuesday, April 7 at 6pm ET, when our Head of Podcasts, Leonora Barclay, will interview Russell Muirhead and Nancy L. Rosenblum about their book Ungoverning: The Attack on the Administrative State and the Politics of Chaos. Register your interest here.

Local Chapters
We have local chapters in London, New York, and Washington, D.C., where our members can meet up informally for discussions and to get to know each other. If you would like to join a local chapter—or to start one of your own—please contact leonora.barclay@persuasion.community.
