Hy,

Conversations about migrant exploitation often focus on policies and headlines, but it’s just as important to look at the everyday systems that make people vulnerable in the first place. Many migrants rely on informal networks for jobs, housing, or travel information, which unfortunately creates opportunities for manipulation when accurate guidance is hard to access. Digital literacy and safe online spaces can play a role in reducing risk, since people increasingly turn to mobile tools and online communities for support before and after moving. I recently read an interesting perspective on how online platforms shape user trust and behavior at https://theastutebetaserver.com, which made me think about how design and access influence real-world safety too.
