This is great. I've also found ChatGPT very helpful when programming, even as an experienced software engineer. It's especially useful when I'm dealing with a programming language whose rough outline I understand, but whose details I'm not yet familiar with (most recently, F#). Or when entering a new problem domain where I need to identify the applicable algorithms and literature (geodesy, currently).
Quite a lot of what it tells me is stuff that I could, in principle, find in a Google search—but ChatGPT cuts to the core of the question, and gets me the answers I need, in an order of magnitude less time. And occasionally it provides surprising insights I don't think any amount of web searching would have revealed.
P.S. my "things I've read" list is sadly quite smaller than yours, so a simple spreadsheet still works for my purposes. But as a big user of PostgreSQL myself, if you choose to publish the schema you've created there's a good chance I'll adopt it too :)
AI can only aggregate information and "learns" from your input. That is not self-consciousness, which is only possible in relationship with another sentient being.
This was a positive spin of a horror story.
Question: Why in the future will ChatGPT need to interact with Frank?
I'm a math teacher, currently teaching at the middle school level. ChatGPT's math skills remain embarrassingly bad.
