Thanks Theo, that was fantastically written as well as immensely insightful. I supported the overthrow of the Assad dictatorship by ex-al-Qaeda, simply because A) could they be worse?, and B) I am obliged in the modern world to accept all sorts of semi-fascists, notably the Trumpers who have taken over the United States, and the Black Panthers, who are resurging in Oakland, California, after 50 years of quiescence—not mention my antiZionist friends. BUT I feared they would return to type, as you have tragically certified that they have. I have long enjoyed your radical multiculturalism and radical centrism (the two are synonymous), since seeing "Theo Who Lived" some 10 years ago and writing about it (see link below). You are doing critical, cutting edge multicultural work for the Middle East, to which I am also trying to contribute with my article "My 50 Years with Islam," see it here: https://cinesourcemagazine.com/index.php?/site/comments/my_half_century_with_a_loving_islam_its_four_secrets_and_the_monotheist_war/. Or go here for "Theo Who Lived: When Hippie Meets Al-Qaeda". https://cinesourcemagazine.com/index.php?/site/comments/theo_who_lived_romanticism_returns_to_middle_east . Thanks again for your great work. Doniphan Blair
