Once again I plead: Dig deeper, folks. "Social Media" is just an amplifier of propaganda. It is a convenient whipping boy, and rightly so. But it's not "fixable". The deeper question is *why* people are lapping up its non-factual, highly emotional message. Why are they so receptive to it rather than turning away? If they weren't it wouldn't be as huge an issue as it is. Fix the *cause*, not the amplifier. Restore the "path to predictable progress".
