Dear Persuasion Readers,
The subject says it all: we’re hiring!
Our current executive director, David, came on board in the very earliest days of Persuasion, and has shaped every aspect of this undertaking since. It is in great measure because of his tireless work, vision and dedication that we have, over the course of the last five years, grown from an idea to a professional operation. There are many times when I would have had a sleepless night if it weren’t for his talent, his reliability, and his organizational abilities.
After five years with Persuasion, David recently decided on his next career step: He wants to become a lawyer working in the public interest. So even though I am very sad to lose him, I am delighted that he will be starting at Stanford Law School in a few months.
Of course, this means that we need somebody to fill David’s big shoes. Do you—or does somebody you know—have a deep commitment to philosophically liberal values, a desire to make a big impact in a start-up environment, and the ability to keep the proverbial trains running on time? We are looking someone with heart and vision, with enthusiasm and an ability to dot those i’s and cross those t’s.
Please spread the word—or come join us yourself!
You can read a full job description here, and indicate your interest via the brief form in the button below.
As we grow, we’re also looking for someone to help with things like scheduling, bookkeeping, and other administrative tasks that keep things running behind the scenes. If this sounds like a good fit, let us know by filling out this brief form!
