I worked on USIA Exhibits in the former USSR between 1977 and 1990 and have always hoped that our work opened some Soviet minds to the wider world. My hope now is that this evil eventually breaks the back of the KGB-minded elite and allows Russia to become the great nation it could be. The horror of the suffering in Ukraine now is something I can't stop watching and also can't bear watching. Thank you for this great interview, filled with compassion and hope. It's astounding how one evil man can cause so much misery both in his own country and elsewhere.
