Excellent report! I certainly hope that either one of these Bills becomes Law. It's mindblowing that nothing has been done congressionally about ratifying election results since 1887
Seems like all of this is commendable. Other civilized countries manage to have efficient, reliable election and there is plenty of blame to go around. It's not Republicans' fault that elections in NY State and City--and other deep blue places--are a complete travesty.
Which party tried to affect the 2016 election results by targeting electors to ignore the will of the voters? It wasn’t the Republicans? Or which party committed the biggest political dirty trick in American history and weaponized the FBI?
The same people now claiming to have a solution for the “Electoral College”…
If Democrats support it, I don't trust it will help fortify anything but their greedy pursuit of their own power and wealth. But with enough bipartisan support I might shift my opinion.
