Great news and congrats. Fukuyama is one of the clearest voices making sense of today's chaos and complex political and social issues. His 1990s book The End of History and the Last Man was a masterpiece, which unfortunately was misread by many critics, who clearly missed his point, that we've exhausted all other political ideas, and (classic) liberal democracy is the culmination of ideological evolution. His 2018 book Identity: The Demand for Dignity and the Politics of Resentment was spot on, and certainly prescient given what's followed in the US and many other parts of the world. Great to get all this great analysis and discussion in one place!
This is great news. Another great mind to help defend rationalism and the Open Society. And endless thanks for your incredible (and unsettling) conference in DC.
I'm a little confused. Will Fukuyama's writing and the new features by Yascha be available for subscribers to read here only, or do I have to get the e-mail notifications in order to see them?
Hello, Peter. Yes, everything will be available here on the website. If you'd like to also enable emails for the three new content categories (Yascha's Substack, Frankly Fukuyama, and American Purpose) then you can do so in your Substack user settings page. If you have any questions about how to set this up, feel free to email us at info@persuasion.community.

Thanks, Charles. Delighted you found the conference valuable!

I meant here "online" not "only. In other words, can I read everything on Substack without filling up my overstuffed inbox with notifications?
