Really enjoyed that discussion, especially the perspective on journalism. I can understand the need for people who specialize and really know how to get into the weeds on a particular topic, But there is something very valuable about a generalist who can think broadly across topics and bring to bear that wide perspective. I am in IT and I will read many technically very correct articles but they can sometimes totally lose the forest through the trees.
The "Jan-6 was a coup" people are the new 9-11 conspiracy nuts. Cassidy Hutchinson's hearsay stories have already been refuted. She is a self-promoting low-level staffer who lied under oath and will face perjury charges once the GOP takes over.
