Every time I read about this war it simply reinforces the despicable nature of the the hopelessly corrupt Russian state. It boggles the mind how people don't take more seriously Trump's obvious affinity for Vladimir Putin, arguably the most brutal and evil autocrat of the 21st century (Syria's Assad being a close competitor).
This article is big on bluster and short on details. Not much on offer except vague hopes that Russia falls apart. No concessions or negotiations? No idea what the goal or endgame might be? Just tens of billions of dollars in cash, weapons, and other support every month for the next several years with no seat at the table? No consideration for the effects of this on our own democracies domestically? I hope Raytheon cut a nice check for this post. They haven't been having this much fun since the Iraq War.
