Moderates! Also known (among some) as the center that cannot hold and the lukewarm mushy middle that God will spit out of his mouth! You'll be ignored (how dare you not posture for social media?) and collect calumnies (it's your fault "we" aren't ushering in the progressive utopia). But be strong because, as hysterical as it sounds, I'm pretty sure we're talking about the fate of our nation.
I find these descriptions of who is "liberal" and who is "moderate" or "centrist" to be mostly useless these days, or worse. Neither ever seems to describe people like me, who are economic populists and anti-neoliberal, still culturally blue-tribe in many ways but also hate wokeist culture. Liberal NOT woke. A realignment of some kind is inevitable.
