Is it overly simplistic to conclude that creativity and its rarer cousin, genius, require putting together unrelated information to produce something new and unanticipated? If not, then AI is by design neither creative nor genius. However, as many people have confused prodigious memory with genius, many people will confuse AI's product with creativity.
I am with you on the LLMs (Chat GTP etc). Not so sure when AGI (Advanced General Intelligence) comes. Whether thats 5yrs away or 50, I dont see any definitional blocks as to why creativity is the unique province of humans.
